The second Wednesday of every month is craft club! Join your fellow creators at Inkwell to sew, crochet, color, or whichever art form you’d like. We host this craft hour to build community, have fun, and encourage more art making!

Learn about the history of quilting in African-American communities, from enslavement to the present, and how these quilts were used for community building, identity formation, storytelling, and resilience.

Together, we will learn how to sew one 12-foot quilt block using the Underground Railroad motif.

Sliding Scale: $25-$55

From curious beginners to published pros, the Inkwell Story Lab is a monthly writing group that will be taking place the second Thursday of every month from 5-6pm. Hosted by Allan Evans, a Minnesota author and the founder of Stillwater Story House. Each session includes a short craft spark, focused writing time, and optional discussion. No pressure to share, no critiques unless invited. Just a room full of people getting words on the page in a cozy bookstore setting. Bring your current project, a notebook, or a messy first draft. Let's build stories together at Inkwell!
